Eberhard & Co. participated as the Main Sponsor of the Save The Reef Charity Golf Trophy, organized by Office Mugino at the beautiful Tokyo Classic Club in Japan: a fundraising initiative in support of the non-profit organization Save the Reef. This event represented an important opportunity to contribute to the protection of coral reefs and to support efforts aimed at preserving marine biodiversity. The mission of Save the Reef is to promote projects for the protection and conservation of coral reefs, often referred to as the “rainforests of the sea” due to their extraordinary biodiversity.
The organization is actively involved in defending and restoring coral ecosystems through coral cultivation, supporting planting efforts in the seas, and raising funds for both national and international projects. Save the Reef’s approach involves cultivating coral in controlled environments and then reintroducing it to damaged reefs, thus contributing to their regeneration.
The event saw the participation of over 130 people, including golf enthusiasts and supporters of this important environmental cause. All proceeds raised during the event are destined to the projects promoted by Save the Reef. Eberhard & Co.’s presence in Japan holds particular significance, and on this occasion, the Swiss Maison had the opportunity to contribute to a cause that is especially close to the hearts of the people in the country.
